I would like to thank Tricia Davies and Joe Centini for taking on the task of becoming our Parish Outreach Ambassadors. Tricia and Joe will offer parish office support from home to assist with St. Paul’s Outreach and emergency assistance as needed.
A dedicated phone line has been established to take incoming calls for those that may be in need of emergency assistance. The phone system has been re-programmed to allow for transfer of calls and voicemails so that our Parish Outreach Ambassadors can provide ministry safely from home.
We are continuing to develop resources to assist those in need. Thank you to all of our volunteers who have offered to help.
Father Coyle and the Legion of Mary have created a phone tree to reach out to all members of our parish over the age of 70 as well as those members of our parish who may be in compromised health. We are checking in regularly to bring comfort and pray over the phone. We are also assessing individual needs.
Our parishioners may be alone and we will try to make sure that they are not lonely.
The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion that usually bring the Eucharist to the homebound are continuing to "visit" the sick by phone to pray with them and help guide them in making a Spiritual Communion in prayer.
