CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER & CENTERING PRAYER
Centering prayer is a prelude to and preparation for the gift of contemplation. Through its practice we discover and explore a deeper and more authentic self than we ordinarily know. It has a way of transforming us that enables us to perceive God in everything that exists. We are then, with St. Paul, able to declare our heart's desire: "...that I may know him", a knowing made real through our participation in his own life. Meets two Thursdays a month at 6:45PM.
